What the badges on a profile mean

Short answer

Verified means Gyfts has checked a practitioner's identity and the credentials they submitted. Featured or Sponsored means they paid to be shown in that spot. Top Practitioners are ranked by relevance and reviews, and that place can't be bought. None of these badges is an endorsement of a treatment or its results.

Verified: Gyfts has checked their identity and the credentials they sent us. It shows while their verification is current and their plan includes it. On an organization's page, Verified confirms the organization itself, not each practitioner who works there.

Featured or Sponsored: the practitioner paid to appear in that spot. It gives them extra visibility; it isn't a recommendation.

Top Practitioners: on condition, symptom and practice pages, practitioners are ranked by relevance, experience, reviews and fit. Nobody can pay for a place there.

Online now: a green dot means they've been active on Gyfts in the last few minutes.

Stars: the average rating and how many reviews it's based on. No stars means no reviews yet, not a low score.

Part of, Member of, Affiliated or Alumni: how they're connected to an organization. A connection to an organization isn't the same as being verified.

Accepting Enquiries: you can message them with a question before you book.
