Profile and visibility
Publish your profile and help the right people choose you.
- Publish your practitioner profileYour profile can be published once it has a profile photo, your name and a headline, a bio of a paragraph or two, at least one modality and at least one service. Publish from the last step of the guided setup, or from My Profile in your dashboard, where a banner shows whether you're live.
- Add an intro video to your profilePaste a link to your video under Intro Video on your Media page, and it plays on your profile. Links from YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Loom, Wistia, TikTok, Instagram, Google Drive and more play right on the page. Any other link shows as a Watch button.
- Get verifiedVerification puts a Gyfts Verified badge on your profile while your verification is current and your plan includes it. Upload a government ID and your qualification certificates, add your phone number, and pay the verification fee. Our team reviews it, usually within 3 to 5 working days, and the badge appears as soon as you're approved.
- Write a bio that gets foundWrite a paragraph or two about who you help, how you work and what a first session is like, and mention your town or city. The counter under the box tells you when you've written enough and how much room your plan gives you.
- Share your profile and add a badge to your websiteShare Profile gives you your profile link, a QR code and a Gyfts badge for your website. Everyone gets a badge: it says Listed on Gyfts, or Verified while your verification is current and your plan includes it. Founding members also get a Founding member badge. Every option links back to your public profile.
- Your Profile Status checklistProfile Status on your Dashboard shows what's left to do, in three stages: Listed (the basics), Discoverable (what people search and filter by) and Complete. Each missing item has an Add link, and the card disappears when you're done.
- Get featured with a placementA placement puts your profile in a Featured spot on a condition, modality or symptom page, or in the general featured list, for the time you choose. It's always labelled Featured or Sponsored, and it adds visibility only; it isn't a verification or an endorsement.
- Read your analyticsAnalytics, under My Practice, shows how people find and contact you: profile views, messages, bookings, referral traffic and reviews. Some plans also get trends, where bookings come from and your busiest times; the page shows what's included for you.
- Claim your @handleYour @handle is a short name that's yours on Gyfts. It shows on your public profile and on some directory cards. Claim or change it in the Your handle card on My Profile.
- Take a break, unpublish your profile or delete your accountTo stop taking bookings for a while, block the dates under Schedule. To hide your profile, select Unpublish on My Profile; publish again whenever you like. To close your account, go to Settings, then Privacy, and select Request account deletion.
- Complete the rest of your profileEverything that fills out your public profile is under Public Profile in your account menu: Practices, Qualifications, Insurance, Languages, Accessibility, Location & Delivery and Social. Open each one, add what applies, and select Save. Practices saves as you go.
- Contribute an article or guideShare what you know with Gyfts readers. Open Contributions, select Start a contribution, pick a topic and a format, add your details, and select Submit for review. Our editors review it, and once it's published you can see how many people read it.
